Lesson Times

  • Class 1: 5:00 - 5:45
  • Class 2: 5:45 - 6:30
  • Class 3: 6:30 - 7:30
  • Class 4: 7:30 - 8:30

Classes:

Class assignment is determined, for the most part, by skill level. All new Irish dancers will begin in Class 1, and at that point, Katie will determine if there is a more appropriate class for the dancer. Generally speaking, dancers move up one class each year, assuming they are able to perform their steps from the previous year.

Information/Registration Night:

There will be an Information/Registration Night at St. Ann's School on Thursday, September 29th at 6:00 pm.

General Lesson Information

Dancers should arrive 10 minutes early to go to the bathroom, put their shoes on, stretch out, and review their steps. They should wear shorts (no pockets please!), t-shirts, poodle socks, and the appropriate dance shoes. Girls must have their hair tied back out of their faces. There is no gum allowed in the dance studio, and only water bottles may be brought to class. To minimize distractions, parents and younger siblings are not allowed into the studio during lessons; they are welcome to wait outside the dance studio if they’d like.
